Little Bit About Me

Hi there, my name is Kole and I love to stay busy and stay motivated. I really enjoy solving problems and working with others, and in my free time I like to get outside and try new things like snowboarding and hunting. I also have a big interest in computers and I love building and customizing my own systems. I'm always looking for ways to learn and grow, and I think my diverse interests and experiences make me a great fit for any team.

    Studying software engineering and really finding my craft.

    Studied Animation thinking I would love it but found it to be more of a hobby. Also took some classes for 3D-Modeling using programs such as Maya and Blender.
  • 2017-2019 Snow College -
    Studied Generals & Graphic Design wanting to become a graphic designer full-time. I also took classes to improve my communication skills as well as business management classes.

Web Design

I would like to consider myself a design fanatic. Mushing my experience with graphic design as well as animation, I feel like designing web applications has because a hidden love for me. I absolutely love getting into the thick of it coming up with color schemes as well as different shapes and animations for cards or information on a users screen to be portrayed in a cleaner manor.

Over the last seven months I have found coding to be an amazing outlet for me to truly express my creative aspect of my personality. I used to want to take part in graphic design almost wholeheartedly until I found software engineering.

I found JavaScript to very intuitive and interactive. While in my bootcamp, some of my peers and I that are now friends would stay up all night just experimenting with different scripts trying to come up with weird new ways to write scripts/functions to do cool things.

Leadership

In my past, I have had many different leadership rolls and absolutely love guiding my people to be their best self in every aspect. Growing up I have been a leader in most events that have taken place, school projects, family gatherings (making sure people make it on time etc...).

Semi-Snitch gives driver performance, and environmental conditions, empowering businesses to maximize efficiency. With personalized coaching sessions, drivers can fine-tune fuel consumption and idle times.

React-Portfolio

Recreated my portfolio using React.js, I like react a lot and have found it to be quite intuitive.
